After more than five years coordinating grassroots promotion of Nonviolent Communication training in the U.S., and four years serving as the marketing director for PuddleDancer Press, project founder Tiffany Meyer discovered some consistent challenges among NVC trainers and organizations. Namely, many NVC organizations and trainers across the globe often struggled achieving financial sustainability -- a fact that left them unable to consistently teach this vital work while still meeting their basic human needs.
Our vision is to fill this gap. We've created a centralized hub where NVC practitioners, trainers, and organizations can find do-it-yourself marketing support, expert promotion and business development advise, ready-to-use NVC promotion materials, and affordable promotion support aimed at helping them create a thriving, financially sustainable organization.
Whether you are an entirely volunteer-run nonprofit, a for-profit trainer, or a coaliton of voluteers hosting an International Training Intensive or seminar by Marshall Rosenberg, you will find a wealth of support on this website.
The goals of the Help Share NVC Project are as follows:
- Help NVC Practitioners Achieve Financial Sustainability — Ultimately, we want every NVC trainer, organization and practitioner to enjoy financially sustainability so they can earn a consistent, livable income doing what they love.
- Reach More People Every Day — Our aim will be to leverage the support of individuals excited about NVC with specific, strategically planned steps they can take to promote NVC and Marshall Rosenberg to a new and wider audience every day. Watch our Campaigns area for new viral campaigns developed in partnership with PuddleDancer Press.
- Strengthen the Business Development and Marketing Skills of NVC Practitioners — Creating a financially sustainable NVC business, nonprofit, or training practice requires as much business and marketing savvy as it does the ability to teach NVC. Through affordable training programs, we hope to boost these skills among anyone who wishes to bring this vital skills to others.
